Miss D’Aloise
Personal
My name is Anna D’Aloise and I am a recent graduate of SUNY Geneseo where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. I am currently earning my Masters Degree in STEM Education from Niagara University. I attended Stella Niagara from Montessori to 8th grade and am excited to be back again!
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that all students learn differently and it is my job as a teacher to help them succeed. I believe in nurturing the student as a whole and aiding them in becoming a well-rounded individual not only in the classroom but also in the community. My educational goal for students is for them to understand mathematics and science beyond the surface level and be able to make connections to other disciplines.
Describe what students will learn in your class
Students will further develop their skills in math and science through hands on activities and projects. They will learn how to be higher-level thinkers and problem solvers by using things they know in order to understand what they don’t. These classes will help to instill responsibility and preparedness for students, as they get ready to enter high school.
