Stella Parent Partnership

Mission

The Stella Parent Partnership (SPP) is empowered to strengthen the bond between home and school by providing a forum for open communication and participation that enhances the educational experience of the entire school community. It promotes positive school spirit and unity among students, faculty, and parents; and assists the administration in its fundraising efforts.

Vision

To achieve full participation of parents and guardians that further promotes and enhances the intellectual, spiritual, and physical development of Stella Niagara students. Parents and guardians will be an active force in the lives of our students through participation and commitment to the school and its activities.

Membership

The SPP is comprised of ALL Stella Niagara parents and functions in support of the school’s board of directors and administration. Parents and guardians, particularly room parents, are strongly encouraged to participate in the SPP.

Structure

The SPP serves as the communication link between families and the school and coordinates several family activities.

SPP officers are elected annually from the SNEP parent community. Quarterly meetings are scheduled and dates appear on the school calendar.

In addition, the SPP coordinates the Room Parent program and assists the administration with its fundraising efforts.

What people are saying about Stella Niagara Education Park

Karmell Macoretta

“My years at Stella, even though it was only 3 years, were truly the best school years of my life. My son is gaining beyond academics that same sense of belonging. That’s what I want for him.”

“If you look at the playground, the beautiful preserve across the street, the trails that surround this school, it’s an important part of education that is often overlooked. And that is something I'm very excited about for our boys. They tell us about the things they do outside, the other day they went on a beaver hike by the river - that’s outstanding!”

“There are many different religions represented at the school, not just Catholicism. I think that teaches children diversity, it teaches them about other people’s beliefs. We need that in the world today.”

“The core value system were very similar to what we tried to teach our children at home since they were toddlers and I knew they would get a quality education. It’s an investment in their future, a lifelong investment.”
